Brooklyn Museum Exhibition

Quiana Parks presented her painting Mommy & Me in The Brooklyn Artists Exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum, part of the institution’s 200-year anniversary celebration. Her work was selected by a committee of distinguished artists that included Mickalene Thomas, a collector of Parks’ work. In addition to participating in the exhibition, Parks also DJed the museum’s 200th anniversary celebration, bringing together her practices in visual art and music within one of New York’s most historic cultural institutions.
